MEET HER SATURDAY AT PETCO ON GREAT HILLS TRAIL FROM 1-5PM. Joy is a quiet and sweet kitty who is happy sleeping next to people, hanging out or playing with other cats, or finding a nice private place to sleep. When you wake her up she'll chirp a little hello and follow you wherever you want to go. She is an interesting mix of social and shy. She likes playing with laser pointers, paper balls, or your feet under the covers. But she has a little attitude and will talk back to you when you reprimand her. Joy is particular about how you pet her and is especially sensitive along her spine, so she will occasionally lash out if rubbed too hard. Therefore, she needs to be in an adult household that will understand and respect her boundaries. Shes smart and really friendly with people, but she needs to be in a home with another energetic, playful young cat or even a gentle but lively dog. We are looking for a 100% INDOOR home without children younger than school age, for the safety of the kitty and the children. Joy has completed all first year vet services including vaccinations, testing for FIV/Leukemia, spay and micro-chip. NOTE: Our adoption area is limited to Austin, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Hutto, Lakeway, Leander, Pflugerville, Round Rock.
