This is Lady. She is a 2 year old, 6 lb Chihuahua/Jack Russell terrier mix who is so unique looking, you can't help but love her! From the top of her tiny mohawk hairdo, to the tip of her little pink tongue that is always peeking out, to her "lion's mane" shoulder wrap--she is all Austin diva. She loves nothing more than to be with her foster mom--sleeping, cuddling, following her around--she is very loyal. She likes to go on short walks, but is pretty much the classic lap dog. She would rather adored than exercised. She gets along well with other dogs and cats, but she also would be fine as an "only" dog. She does not like to be left alone, so she needs a family where someone is home most of the time, or is willing to take her along on their daily activities. Her small size makes her very portable! Adoption fee is $350.** Please note: Due to their size, our dogs are not suitable for homes with children under 5. We do not have a facility, all dogs are fostered in the homes of our volunteers.
