Zoom! There goes Anna! Anna is a small dog with a big love of life. Everything is an adventure that can be met with a wag of the tail and a flying leap. She was found as a stray living in San Antonio, which probably explains her wanderlust. But Anna is definitely not a loner. She absolutely loves people, and wants nothing more than a family to play with. Anna loves playing with other dogs, from Chihuahuas all the way to pit bulls. She does not take no for an answer when it comes to playtime, so she would do best paired with a younger dog who can match her energy. Cats, however, are generally not receptive to her style of play. She can be shy around kids and new people, but once she warms up to you, she will never want to leave your side. She will follow you around the house, climb into your lap for snuggles, and greet you at the door as if you are The Greatest Most Amazing Person Who Ever Lived. It's hard not to smile with Anna zipping around. She's just a little firecracker of love and enthusiasm. Anna seems house trained, walks well on a leash and is a lot of fun to bring to the park. She is an excellent ball or Frisbee catcher. Anna recently needed some heart surgery, and is on medication. She'll scarf down her pills in a meatball, no problem.
