She has a slight build, classic black and tan coat and deep brown eyes. Piper was born (approximately) August 17, xxxx, making her about 2 years old. She weighs 9 pounds 1.5 ounces as of 10/05/13 and she is fully grown. Piper came into an area animal shelter as a terrified stray and was pulled by another rescue organization. She was later transferred to Jack's Pack for socialization efforts and has already made great strides. Piper is arrived very fearful and is still sometime timid with new people. Although she is shy at first, she is eager to bond and will come around when given the chance. She has always maintained her gentle disposition, even when scared. She is playful but equally snugly at not the least bit hyperactive. She is very agile and graceful and enjoys fun in the sun, whether it be playing for sunbathing. She is not an excessive barker -- occasionally barks during play but otherwise she is very quiet. She is crate trained and housebroken but may have accidents while adjusting to a new home, family and schedule. She has happily coexists with other dogs, cats and all people including gentle children. Piper has been given a clean bill of health. An adoption fee of $85.00 will help fund our rescue efforts, including the following veterinary care she has received.
