Snuggles is such an appropriate name for this girl. She just loves to be loved. This very sweet gal wants to be near her person at all times, rolling over on her back to have her tummy scratched and cuddling her head in laps to get pets and ear rubs. She's only been observed briefly with other dogs so far, but has behaved perfectly around those she's met. In foster care now, her foster mom says there aren't enough good adjectives to describe her. 'She doesn't have a mean bone in her body and loves everyone she meets. She's so happy and grateful for everything - easy to care for and fall in love with. All she wants is a full belly, someone to scratch it and a fuzzy blanket to lay on.' Snuggles seems house trained and is quite content to play with her rope and soft squeaky toys, especially the toy giraffe that's her sleeping companion, then lounge on the couch to watch TV. She's also not bothered by thunderstorms. Snuggles has problems with her back knees and needs surgery to correct them. Until she recovers, she should be in a home without a lot of stairs and she won't be a runner. Also, it should be noted that she has tested positive for heartworms.
